Your little baby doesn’t understand words, it doesn’t matter. They can see pictures and hear your voice. They understand the intonations and the feelings expressed in those words. Let them hold it, press it, chew on it. Give them books with sound panels and hear them gurgle when it makes a song or plays a tune. Lift-a-flap books are ideal too.
